Five years ago, myself and my Husband’s life suddenly changed when we found out he had testicular cancer. This was a massive shock for us both, especially as my Husband was so young at the time. Thankfully, with the incredible support from all the medical staff and the ‘It’s On The Ball’ charity, my Husband was supported throughout and his cancer was cured. We are forever grateful for that support and he is now living life to the full! Having experienced first hand how testicular cancer can affect lives, I have a strong desire to help others going through this and to help raise awareness.

Before being involved in ‘It’s On The Ball’, I worked in primary education where I could put my interest in helping others into practice by implementing a club for the Young Carers.

In my spare time, I enjoy going for family walks with my Husband and son, charity shopping, visiting new places and writing poetry!
